ElonJet is a social media account tracking the real-time private plane usage of Elon Musk. The account, created by Jack Sweeney using public data, is hosted on Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Truth Social, and Mastodon, and formerly on Twitter, where the account had about 530,000 followers. Several of these accounts use the handle @elonjet.

[16 December 2022] Twitter Spaces, the audio feature that allows people to participate in group chats using the social media platform, has been disabled and it’s not clear whether it will ever return. The move comes after Elon Musk joined a group chat hosted by BuzzFeed reporter Katie Notopoulos on Thursday night, where the Twitter CEO spoke incoherently about his new rules around what the billionaire called “doxxing.”

The Twitter Files are a set of internal Twitter, Inc. documents shared by owner Elon Musk with freelance journalist Matt Taibbi, opinion writer Bari Weiss, and author Michael Shellenberger in December 2022. Taibbi and Weiss coordinated the release of the documents with Twitter management, releasing the details of the files as a part of a series of Twitter threads.

The Gävle Goat (Swedish: Gävlebocken, Swedish pronunciation: [?j???vl?b?k??n]) is a traditional Christmas display erected annually at Slottstorget (Castle Square) in central Gävle, Sweden. It is a giant version of a traditional Swedish Yule Goat figure made of straw. It is erected each year by local community groups at the beginning of Advent over a period of two days. It has been the subject of repeated arson attacks, and, despite security measures and a nearby fire station, the goat has been burned to the ground most years since its first appearance in 1966. As of December 2021, 38 out of 56 goats have been destroyed or damaged in some way.

2022 is a historic year for the world's largest straw goat, which for the first time in 56 years gets a temporary new location in Gävle. During the construction of the new cultural center Agnes Kulturhus, the Gävle Goat gets to take pride of place on the Town Hall Esplanade, Rådhusesplanaden, in central Gävle. The inauguration of the Gävle Goat is thus moved from Slottstorget to Stortorget. Why the pixels? The purpose of the Gävle Goat's webcam is to show him off to curious fans around the world. People walking by may not want to be seen in the picture, so for privacy reasons parts of the broadcast are pixelated.

[17 December 2022] The managing director of Elon Musk’s family office is seeking new equity investors for Twitter as users revolt, advertisers flee, and debt payments loom, according to people familiar with the fundraising effort. Musk’s money manager, Jared Birchall, reached out to potential investors this week, offering shares of Twitter at the same price, $54.20, that Musk paid to take the company private in October, the people said.
